Synchronization Specialist SYNKIA expands mobile sync options for Plaxo.

Synkia AS, the leading edge mobile back up and synchronization software company has signed a partnership agreement with Plaxo, provider of a next-generation social utility that helps nearly 25 million members stay connected with the people they know and care about. The deal represent’s SYNKIA’s first North American partnership after the recently announced agreement with Plus, one of the biggest mobile operators in Poland.

Plaxo users, who have accounts at Synkia’s online mobile backup service, will be able to synchronize contact data between the two services. This will extend distribution of contact data from Plaxo to the mobile phones of its users and will enable the synchronization of contact data on mobile phones with Plaxo and vice versa. Plaxo will strongly urge its users to backup data on their phones with Synkia and Synkia will advertise Plaxo to its users.
